Well, you may already noticed that I didn't put a lot of effort on trying to get RSS feed readers. The reason is I didn't realize h0w important it is. I thought most RSS feed readers don't actually read the feed, and I am not sure whether it will bring me a lot of traffic. But a lot of people do care about the numbers.
When I was trying to register my blog to some paid advertising websites, they required me to fill in my feed URL, I didn't even know what mine was. When I found it and filled in, they told me my blog was not qualified due to too few readers. I guess the consider the feed reader count as the actual number of readers. I didn't know how many feed readers I had before I added the widget on my top left side bar.
No one wants to show what I showed on my top left side bar "1 reader(s)" (I don't know whether it counts myself as one or not. LOL.) . But I really want to see the number grow, as well as wanting my visitors to see the same thing.
